Over 20 years of experience with wildlife projects for academia, government, and industry. Conducted research on a variety of wildlife habitat issues and several large mammal projects. She now manages the WII office and all field work.

Over 20 years of experience in integrated management of wildlife and forestry for government and industry. Conducted research on biodiversity and numerous mammal species. Participates in provincial ecological research and management committees.

GIS Analyst

Possesses an advanced diploma in GIS and a degree in Physical Geography. Experienced in custom GIS tool development and wildlife habitat model development using GIS, Netica®, and SELES® programming.

GIS Analyst

Has 7 years of operational GIS experience in Natural Resource Management applications. He is very proficient with ESRI GIS software and programming techniques.

Wildlife Biologist, GIS Technician

Experienced in data collection for various aquatic, terrestrial, and avian species and their habitat. She now manages data maintenance and archival tasks as well as participating in habitat supply model applications.

Biologist/Forester

Over 17 years of integrated resource management experience in the government and consulting sectors of the forest industry. Comprehensive operational knowledge, as well as experience on research and adaptive management projects.

Joan Voller, B.Sc., RPBio
Ecologist

Joan has more than 20 years of wildlife biology experience in BC. Her skills include trapping, telemetry, data analysis, and technical writing. Currently, she is responsible for conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and co-authoring technical reports and publications.

Ecologist

Fraser is experienced in many aspects of natural resource management. Previous experience includes Forest Technician, Invasive Plant Technician, and Conservation Officer. Fraser is responsible for field work at WII.

Justin Lee
Network Administrator

Justin is an adept learner whose early adventures with Linux prepared him for his duties maintaining WII's computer systems. He is fluent in Perl and many other scripting languages.
