The Caribou Habitat Assessment and Supply Estimator (CHASE) model developed by WII, predicts the supply
of five critical seasonal ranges
for Norther Caribou(Rangifer tarandus caribou) under different forest management scenarios.
The map below depicts a sample output of the
CHASE model's predictions for the availability of High-Elevation Winter Range for the Wolverine
caribou herd in North-Central British Columbia.
