Once an animal is successfully ensnared with a net gun, the helicopter lands and the crew must then physically restrain the animal (in this case
an adult caribou). Once the animal is blindfolded it naturally calms down and allows the crew to attach a collar, ear tag and take a few
measurements, prior to releasing the
animal.
